You name the drink, and you’ll find it in Slovakia!
Wine is very common throughout Slovakia, and Slovakian wine comes mainly from the southern areas of Slovakia along the Danube.
Beer is also quite popular in Slovakia. In most of the country the Pils variety is predominant.
Two kinds of soft drinks are also popular, including the award winning Vinea, a unique grape soda made of grape juice completely without preservatives. Kofola on the other hand is a cola drink made in Czechoslovakia in the 1960’s.
Its hard to find the big-name western brands that you’re used to, so pop open a can of one of these delicious Slavak varieties.
