Meals in Slovakia
Traditionally in Slovakia, the main meal of the day was a lunch eaten around noon.
However, as the working habits of Slovakia have changed, so have the eating habits in Slovakia.
Today, like the rest of us, Slovakians eat their main meal in the evening. Another tradition that goes with the meals in Slovakia is the beer!
Factory workers used to have a beer after work, called Ideme na pivo.
Beer pubs once called Krcma used to only serve worker, but today have been transformed into fancy bars that serve everyone.
That’s good news for travelers, and bad news for workers.
